Welcome to my photography blog page!
My name is Jenny Olmanson. I am a photographer, a mother of two and a wife. Photography is a side hobby of mine and a creative outlet. During the day, you'll find me number crunching and working on important projects at a national non-profit organization as their Chief Financial Officer. In my spare time, you'll find me studying photography and attending mentoring sessions to improve my skills. You can never stop learning!
It is because of friends, family, co-workers and other acquaintances in my life that my side hobby has turned into a small business. I don't measure the success of my business by the dollars collected at the end of the day, but by the smiles on faces, the composition of images, the feedback from clients, the quality of finished products and the number of repeat clients. I treat every session the same. You'll never be rushed through a session. It takes time to capture your character, attitude and you being you. Photography has taught me patience (as well as my two children and husband).
How did I decide on a business name? I spend two hours a day in the car commuting and had plenty of time to brainstorm ideas. I wanted a name that reflected what I did and why photos are important. Each photo taken today will be treasured tomorrow and forever. With that said, I came up with the name Taken Today Treasured Tomorrow Photography by Jenny.
What's in my camera bag? Canon 5d Mark II, Canon 7d, Canon 24-105 L lens, Canon 100 macro L lens, Canon 70-200 2.8 L lens, Canon 50 1.2 lens, Canon 580 EXii flash, extra batteries, filters, SD cards and more.
How do I book a session? You can email me at firstname.lastname@example.org or call me on my cell at 507-273-7743 or call my home phone at 651-460-4352.
Every moment in life can be only captured once. I encourage everyone to pick a moment and have it professionally captured. You'll find that I am reasonably priced, work with a client's budget and deliver a great product for you to treasure forever. I look forward to hearing from you!
